The lounge of Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon was transformed into a baroque wedding chapel, with draped ivory silk chameuse, and crystal filled 6 foot gold candelabras, and silk chair coverings, with brocaded gold ties.  The stage, covered with plush white carpeting and draped as a giant arch held red velvet Victorian King and Queen chairs, as well as 4 foot floral arrangements of assorted tropical flowers, and flowing zimbidium orchids, a favorite of the bride. Also visible was a vase with dozens of long stem red roses and stephanotis, in memory of Pete's late mother, Delores.  There were many tears of happiness as the couple recited their vows and exchanged rings, Pete's a handmade gold and diamond TCB; and Amanda's, purchased by Pete at auction, a wide gold band with clusters of diamonds, designed by Elvis for the wife of his own best man and friend, Marty Lacker.

Amanda wore an off-white silk Bianchi gown, beaded in pearls and crystals.  Her headpiece was a Swarovski crystal tiara with a triple tier shoulder length be-jeweled veil.  She carried a cascading bouquet of large cream roses, orchids, stephanotis (with crystal centers), lilies and tropicals, which matched the presentation bouquets of her maids.  Also sparkling was Amanda's 4 carat diamond engagement ring, a replica of that given to Ginger Alden by Elvis.

The pre-wedding music for guest seating, which began almost 2 hours prior to the ceremony, was upbeat rock and roll.  It quickly turned to classical selections as Amanda's mother, Leticia Lasham was walked down the aisle by her son, Anthony; and the maids walked to their places by the stage. Amanda's entrance was marked by the trumpet flourish of Rondeau, as she and her father, Lloyd R. Lasham began their walk to the stage.

The couple is enjoying a honeymoon trip to San Francisco and to their other home outside of Seattle before returning to Las Vegas.

THOUSANDS ATTEND THE WEDDING OF AMANDA & PETE!

Pete & Amanda want to thank the many friends and family members who came from near and far (some from as far away as Europe) to join them in celebrating the most special day of their lives. It was exciting and overwhelming for them to see such an outpouring of love and for that they want to thank you all!

In front of thousands of well-wishers and invited guests, the couple was wed by the Reverend Bill Toller, in a traditional Christian ceremony. The best man was Sonny West, best known as the former confidant, bodyguard and friend of Elvis Presley. The matron of honor was Pete's long-time manager, Lucille Star Kramer. The Groomsmen included Pete's son, Aaron Vallee; friends Tom Lynd, Steve Perry, and Jimmy Velvet, another close friend of the late King, as well as the curator of the King's Ransom Museum located at the Imperial Palace Hotel. The bridesmaids were Elizabeth Miller, Marilou Oribello (friends of Amanda) and Veronica Lopez, Grammy nominated singer and friend of the couple. Ushers included long-time friend and featured singer at Pete's show, Chuck Rawlings; Pete's sound engineer, Dane Ngahuka;
and family friend, Roy Frazier.
